Part Two San Diego Quilt Show

Posted on 8:44 PM by hill wilf

My week started with knit class on Monday and then I was on the road Tuesday to take care of funny little Jack while his tired parents went away on a mini vacation. I was with the little one Tuesday thru Friday hanging out. Lets just say I know why you have toddlers when your young. If I see a Lightening McQueen dvd one more time I think I'll be brain dead. I had to laugh when Little Jack called me funny Nana. I guess I can be funny to a two year old.
I drove home on Friday and was greeted by one happy Shitzu. Today I was cracking the whip on poor hubby our big T.V finally died so I had looked up a free recycling event for east county.Yea no more big over sized t.v and cabinet! There is something so not primitive as a big t.v.
Enjoy part two of the Quilt show.

The Red Barn, The Country Loft and of course our Tuesday Rug hooking group

Posted on 6:07 PM by hill wilf
As usual I have been bouncing around doing a bunch of stuff.Last week I went back to the Tuesday rug hooking group.I don't think I was there all summer and boy it sure was nice getting caught up with everyone. What a talented group of ladies.
It's starting to feel like fall in California finally. Next week is the Native plant sale I can't miss that.I am slowly changing to more drought tolerant plants. My water bill is forcing me to.
Knitting class on Mondays is a learning experience always with Athena.  Esther was back and I love her positive attitude.I sit next to Esther a retired nurse and another nice lady who was a female pastor.
On Friday Linda suggested we drive up to the Red Barn and I was happy to be her passenger. I  took some pictures of some very cute birdhouses.
I will get back to part two of the San Diego Quilt show next weekend...enjoy The Red Barn,Country Loft and our rug hooking group pictures.Hugs Cheri
