Rughooking, computers and snakes again Oh my!

Posted on 10:51 PM by hill wilf
Primitive Rughookers love to hook animals

What is a girl to do my old computer quit working last week.So today I have been fighting with it trying to figure out if something got unplugged. It's ridiculous I unplugged everything under the sun and then plugged the cords in again but no power.  Well I have a slight confession It didn't help I accidentally dropped it.Note to self never ever have a computer on a antique treadle sewing table It's too small and narrow. It worked for days after the drop so I still do think it's something simple I keep telling myself.
Right now I am trying to use hubby's really really small laptop to write this post. It has taken me hours to update this computer. I couldn't even get into blogger until I added chrome. I am hunched over inches from its itsy bitsy monitor just to see the screen. What dedication.
This month I joined back up with Donna's rug hooking group called Primitive Ruggers that has started to meet once a month in the day time at the Country loft.It was so much fun. I used to attend Donna's evening group but once I moved back to Crest I didn't want to drive up the long grade at night. It was so nice seeing the hookers I hadn't seen in years. The last time I had seen some of the gals little Jack wasn't even born yet.Time sure flies by.They sure made me feel welcomed back.

What a great job!

Today I was working in my garden and a lady on a golf cart stopped to admire my crazy painted chicken coop. I have been repainting my coop and thinning my  twenty year old Cecile Brunner rose bush. Unfortunately hubby found a baby snake wiggling under the arbor when we moved it last weekend all I can say it was too big for it to be a worm. I am getting so jumpy that I scared myself just telling my cousin a couple of days ago about the baby snake when I spied a wool worm on my bed! What a goof I jumped.

I am such a coward anything living outside that startles me freaks me out when I am gardening. So these dumb snakes that keep popping up are seriously freaking me out. Then today I was sitting on the porch telling my cousin on the phone about all the birds and how Morris is such a Hannibal lector cat
when what do I do I almost step on a dead bird on my welcome mat.  I felt horrible I wish he would just stick to lizards and gophers.I said a little prayer for the little bird and tried not to think about it.
                                                                     another nice hooked rug
