Linda and her beautiful Garden
Posted on 7:38 PM by hill wilf
Today I had a great opportunity to see a wonderful drought tolerant garden in the East County of Southern California.Linda is an avid gardener who uses water responsibly. Southern California has a decade long struggle with drought. Water is gold. By using natives and drought tolerant plants Linda has created a beautiful and interesting garden.Drought tolerant plants don't need to be cactus! The shape of the plant you pick and the color placement can add interest in any garden with less water. Linda created this garden from scratch in about 6 years. Stroll with me and see how she created a flowing garden that uses plants with their shapes color and foliage to engage the visitor with a array of interesting displays of plant life. The garden starts from the front yard garden to the wonderful pergola to the back yard gardens.Remember this is August in Southern California where the temperatures are from the 80's to 100's.
